Petaling Street
I was in Petaling Street few weeks back during the moon cake festival. I was there with my mum to shop for moon cake at Yook Woo Hin. Well they are the traditional moon cake bakers during the 80sa and now they still the same serving the traditional old style moon cake, not like now with chocolate, ice cream or whatsoever.
After that, we went to the famous traditional Chinese biscuit stall in Petaling Street which is the Fung Wong located near the market. They sell various types of biscuits such as Egg tarts, Siew pow, Hup toh soh, Lo poh peng, Kong soh peng, Kah Lui Peng, and moon cake as well. All the traditional biscuits are freshly daily made from the kitchen at the back of the shop.
Also not forgotten the famous sweet potato snack in Petaling Street, the sweet potato balls are fried at the stall to maintain the crispy texture of the snack. The lady has been selling there for almost 20 over years.
